Ormiston Gorge - complete

Finally finished Ormiston Gorge yesterday afternoon/evening. This is my first time in painting reflections in water and I don't think it turned out too bad. I am reluctant to do anything further to it unless I ruin it, so I will call this finished! Yay. Once again, the photo is less than great and I will try to get a better one in different light once it is dry.

Thanks guys.

Alf, what I did was just block in colours that were reasonably the same shape and position as the scenery and then just drag it down with a wide brush and then again horizontally and add in the ripple details at the end.

Lisa, I am already keen to start my next painting - a stormy seascape.
